I live for that moment when you discover a solution.
I received My first degree from Presbyterian college in 2013. I studied painting with a minor in computer science. My hope was to eventually become an illustrator for a design firm. Following graduation I moved to Columbia, SC, started teaching art lessons, and began an 8 month internship at a graphic design firm called Post No Bills. I fell in love with the problem solving nature of the assignments. Each new project was a puzzle to unravel. The more difficult the puzzle, the more fun it was to solve, and with my somewhat limited experience, some of them were very difficult to solve.
As my internship drew to a close, I was now certain graphic design was the career path I wanted to pursue but I felt my current level of education was not refined enough for me to achieve the level of success I wanted. So I made the decision to enroll in Savannah College of Art & Design’s graphic design program starting the 2015 winter quarter. Over the next two and a half years I honed my craft through SCAD’s rigorous expectations and course load.
As each day passes, approaching graduation, I feel more and more confident in my abilities. The opportunities I was able to experience, the people I worked with, the projects I have worked on, all have prepared me to tackle anything I might face in my future endeavors. I look forward to working with you
